Don’t lose hope just because the economy is weak. You can still get a job if you know how.

Don't give up

Getting a job in this economy is difficult with all the job cuts by the top companies. However, all hope in getting a job shouldn’t be lost because there are a few recession proof careers that are still growing despite the unfortunate economic downturn.
One of the growing careers is anything in the field of technology. Since technology is evolving and more in demand, salaries stay high ranging from $30,000 to $70,000. Computer enthusiasts may pursue the roles of computer system analysts or network administrators. Even maintenance jobs such as computer repairers and technicians can earn much in this economic struggle.

Competition is quite fierce in the education sector too most especially in Math and Science. Any jobless individuals who have a passion for teaching in Math and Science in any level should land a well paid job rather easily. Teacher assistants should expect around $20,000 while the postsecondary teachers can earn over $50,000.

Because the planet is struggling for energy alternatives, energy jobs are in demand more than ever before. This includes power plant operators, electrical repairmen, and other workers that contribute to energy. This includes environmental jobs as well since people strive to have clean energy around the country. Both environmental scientists and engineers have a great opportunity in getting a new job as well.

One of the things that recessions do not affect is crime levels. In fact, it may affect them in a negative way increasing the demand for law enforcement and government jobs. You can contribute to the safety of the nation and earn yourself over $40,000 for a median salary.

These are just some of the common jobs that you can try during economic times. This is a great opportunity to brush up new skills as the economic slowly stands back on its own feet.
